DFW Airport Closed Due to Ice Storm

An ice storm in the area has caused the cancellation of flights at the Dallas Fort Worth International airport. The low temperatures and high winds pose a great danger for flights as runways are extremely slippery.

Airport crews were in charge of treating the runways or roadways that have been affected by the extreme weather in the area in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to DFW Airlines, of the total of 850 scheduled departures for today, 300 of them have been cancelled. Airport
