canelo vs hatton fight today The weigh-ins for the event were marred with a bit of controversy when Canelo failed to make the agreed upon catchweight of 150-pounds (WBC Junior-Middleweight limit is 154) and came in over 1.8 pounds. Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez was fined 20 percent of his $350,000 fight purse when he failed a second time to make weight, and half of his earnings for tonight’s fight will go to his opponent Matthew Hatton which is Matthew “Magic” Hatton and Saúl “Canelo”
