Jeremy Renner Offered, Expected to Sign for The Bourne Legacy
Jeremy Renner is one popular fella. Thanks to his breakthrough role in Katheryn Bigelow’s “The Hurt Locker”, he’s now Paramount’s hand-picked successor to Tom Cruise in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise (starting with the fourth one). And now it looks like Universal wants to get in on the Renner Lottery: the studio has hand-picked Renner to front their “Bourne Legacy”, their Matt Damon-less continuation of the box office busting “Bourne” franchise.Deadline reports that
