I went to church Friday night, which is to say I drove 4 hours to see The Mountain Goats and witnessed the intrinsic truth of selflessness when a man loses himself inside his own music – he is gone – and there is only just music musicing in the happening of musichood. It’s the same thing as forgetting yourself when you’re kind to someone. Only louder.
