Today we have learnt that Sparky Anderson, a Hall of Fame manager has been placed in hospice care at his home in California. The news was given by his family through a statement, that detailed this was done due to complications resulting from his dementia.
Sparky Anderson, 76, was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2000. He has won three times the World Series (in 1975 and 1976 with the Reds and in 1984 with the Tigers).
